World Entrepreneurship Day – GHANA
At 1.30pm on Friday 16 April 2010 students, entrepreneurs and business leaders gathered at Methodist University College in Ghana to celebrate World Entrepreneurship Day, discussing a variety of topics under the overarching theme of ‘Skill and Entrepreneurship: Bridging the Gender Divide’.
Topics included:
- The Secrets to Success of a Persistent Entrepreneur – presented by Mr. Kwame Nyamkye, MUCG Entrepreneurship Lecturer and Entrepreneur
- Women in High Level Management, Intra-Preneurship – presented by Mrs. Brigitte Dzogbenuku, General Manager of the Aviation Social Centre
- African Women & Youth ICT Entrepreneurship – presented by Mrs. Sheila Bartels-Sam, Chief Executive Officer of Platinum Technologies & InCharge Global
- 8 Steps to Success TED Video – presented by Mr. Richard St. John, TED speaker
- The Making of “ToeTalk” (Who Am I) – presented by Mr. Prince Sackey, Chief Executive Officer of Toetalk
- SIFE & AIESEC contribution on Entrepreneurship in Ghana – presented by Edmund Akrofie, Programs Manager of SIFE Ghana and Mary Anna Coleman, AIESEC Alumni
